Renaming your start button

Ever wondered if you can change the title of your start menu? lol, I sounded like a home tv shopping voice over :))

Anyway, I would share to youo how can you change the 'Start' text in the Start menu..

Requirements:
- enough idea of what i will do xD
- any resource hacker
- a registry...
- a computer...
- explorer.exe

just to make it long xD
actually what you just really need is a resource hacker. A hex editor may do, but i prefer to use a resource hacker. cause its much easier.

Steps: (i used resource hacker)

1. Backup!!! your registry and your explorer.exe
2. Open your resource hacker
3. Go String Table > 37 > 1033
4. Edit the string "start"
5. Compile Script > Save
6. Open Registry editor and go here
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
7. Find the 'shell' key then replace the value with your modified 'explorer.exe'
8. Log off or restart..thats it :)
